DAVID A. JACKSON is a registered patent attorney and a founding partner of the firm of Klauber & Jackson. His practice includes all phases of intellectual property including the evaluation, preparation, prosecution and licensing of patents, trademarks and copyrights. Although Mr. Jackson has been involved in a variety of technical disciplines, he presently concentrates in the field of biotechnology. Mr. Jackson received his B.S. from Tufts University (1965) in a combined major of chemistry and biology, and his J.D. from the Washington College of Law (1970), American University, Washington, DC. From 1970 to 1973, he worked as a patent examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and from 1973 to 1976, he was employed by the Olin Corporation in New Haven, CT.

Mr. Jackson entered the private practice of law in 1977 and was a member of the firm of Popper, Bobis & Jackson from 1981 to 1988, when the firm of Klauber & Jackson was formed. Mr. Jackson is licensed to practice in the States of New Jersey and Virginia, as well as before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

He is a member of the Bergen County, Passaic County, Essex County, New Jersey State and American Bar Associations, as well as the American Intellectual Property Law Association, New Jersey Patent Law Association, Connecticut Patent Law Association, the American Chemical Society, and the Association of University Technology Managers
