STEFAN J. KLAUBER is a registered patent attorney and was a founding partner of Klauber & Jackson. Mr. Klauber remains associated with the firm as of counsel. His practice includes all phases of intellectual property and particularly foreign and domestic patent prosecution, licensing and interference practice, and related litigation. Mr. Klauber's area of technical emphasis is in the areas of industrial minerals, electro-chemical products and processes, and in the electronic and electro-optical areas.
He received his undergraduate degree in chemistry/physics from Cornell University, and did graduate work in physics at Ohio State University where he also held a teaching assistantship in chemistry. He subsequently joined the General Electric Company as an applied physicist, and thereafter obtained his law degree from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. He was employed for several years as a patent attorney with the Xerox Corporation in Rochester, New York, and thereafter as Division Patent Counsel with Airco, Inc., now part of the BOC Group, located in Murray Hill, New Jersey. Mr. Klauber has been engaged in private practice since 1970.
He is a member of the Bars of New Jersey, the District of Columbia and Maryland.He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the American Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Bergen County Bar Association, and many other professional and technical societies.
